Registrar Office
Registrar’s Office
All graduating seniors will receive an email from Terri Selbe, Assistant Registrar to confirm the name on your diploma and your mailing address. Students will also be asked to submit their height and weight for cap and gown orders.
Seniors will need to respond to either confirm or correct this information.
FAQs
Q: When will my degree be conferred?
A: Degrees are conferred once the Office of the Registrar concludes their end of term processing and degree audits. Students can expect their degree will be conferred no later than 30 days after the end of the term of their last course (spring, summer, fall). All credit from courses taken at WPU or elsewhere must be completed and processed before a degree will be posted to the student record (conferred). This means that all official transcripts must be received for any transfer credits.
Q: When will I receive my diploma?
A: Diplomas are ordered for graduates after degrees are conferred. Only students with a zero account balance will receive their diploma. Please confirm with the Student Accounts office that you do not have an account balance prior to the end of the term to ensure you will receive your diploma promptly. Diplomas are sent directly to students at the address listed on their Graduation Application. Diplomas usually ship 4-6 weeks after they are ordered.
Q: How do I know that I graduated?
A: The Office of the Registrar will send each graduate an email with confirmation of conferral and diploma information. Students should check their WPU email accounts regularly after graduation. Contact our office if you haven’t received an email within 35 days of the end of the term of your last course.
